DUE WEDNESDAY 8/29 - First draft PRECEPT speech due. Speech includes an introduction of your selected precept, a personal story that illustrates the importance of the precept to your life and connect the story (and the precept) to the kind of class you'd like.
Do not send these speeches to me by email. Print them out and bring to class 7th period. (I suggest you print them out at home or in our classroom WAY before 7th period.)
DUE THURSDAY 8/30 - Please complete the Belief-O-Matic quiz at: beliefnet.com
Print out your results and bring them to class. Make a list of all the terms you don't know and write down their meaning. We wil be generating a vocab list in class.
DUE FRIDAY 8/31 - Review for Newsbowl. Prizes awarded (not OOPS passes -- too many have already been given out).
